There’s no actual flame (which is great) It’s just a safe and energy-saving LED light source. The EZ-Illuminations LED Flame Light Bulb simulates a natural flame with flickering LED lights. Alex loves these because they make decorating so easy. I like using them outside as well on our trees, roof, bushes and around the doorframes. These are perfect for indoors and outdoors. Every bulb of the EZ-Illuminations LED Flame Bulb twinkles independently and creates a dramatic lighting effect through the entire room. This year, I am so excited about using the NEW EZ-Illuminations Super Sparkle lights and EZ-Illuminations LED Flame Bulbs. I always stock up and make sure to have plenty for every room in my house. Light it up – You can’t go wrong with twinkling lights during the holidays. I also brought some greenery to my centerpiece.ģ. I brought in a couple of different sizes and placed them on a corner to bring in some height and color. Although I would love to bring in real evergreens, the next best things are Christmas trees. They were gorgeous and looked so stoic while all of the other trees lost all of their leaves standing strong next to the white snow. Bring in greenery – When we lived in Nebraska, I loved seeing all of the evergreen trees. Once I have a blank canvas, then I can bring in holiday decorations.Ģ. This means taking down the artwork, the centerpieces and creating an open space. Clear the clutter- Whenever I change things up for the season, I like to start fresh. Here are my tips for decorating a dining room for the holidays:ġ. I think that when it comes to decorating for the holidays, there are a few tricks that help ring in the holidays while highlighting the best parts of the space. Our decorations here are modern with an industrial touch and it sets the perfect background to our family dinners. When we first moved to our house in Texas, Alex and I kept this room simple and elegant and we just knew that it would be the highlight of our home. I was the most excited to decorate our dining room this year. It took everything in me to hold off this long, but there’s no going back now. Last week we started decorating for the holidays. You might think you’d have to special order these lights – they are that special. This post is sponsored by Everstar and all opinions are my own. I’ll probably be breaking these out to use at Halloween next year too! I’m also planning to grab a few more and use them inside as well. We put them in our garage sconces, the front porch light and the lamppost. They cast a warm glow and really mimic the looks of fire – without the obvious hazards. These bulbs are amazing – they have a yellow/orange glow that pulses and flickers and looks like real flames. One of my favorite new additions to our outside decor is the EZ-Illuminations LED Flame Bulbs. A much different effect than typical “blinking” lights. Because they are LED, the light is bright and true and the sparkle effect means that different bulbs are lighting up every second. The EZ-Illuminations Super Sparkle lights really do sparkle. We added a garland to the lamppost and used two strings of lights there to ensure that it really sparkled. The lights brought it to life once the sun went down. The wreath had always looked nice during the day but disappeared at night. We added lights to the wreath we hang on the house every year and it instantly added some much needed oomph to it. We found an old small tree in a stand that had burned out years ago and added a string of EZ-Illuminations lights to it and placed it on the front step. Once we saw how easy lighting up the shrubs went, we were excited to add more bling to the outside of the house. I love that the wires are green and completely blend in with the shrubs during the day so that you can hardly see them. I kicked myself for not having tried net lights years ago. These made putting lights on our new shrubs SO much easier. When I received my box of products from EZ-Illuminations, I was excited to find boxes of net lights. We recently replaced most of the shrubs across the front of our house and I was kind of dreading having to string lights all over them. That’s why I’m so excited to partner with our sponsor, EZ-Illuminations Super Sparkle lights and EZ-Illuminations LED Flame Bulbs. Honestly, our holiday decorations go up Thanksgiving weekend and decorating with lights and greenery is one of my favorite traditions! But like most people, I want to make it as simple as possible while still getting some seriously bright bling going on. I love the holiday season and always go all out celebrating it.
